Text Box: FLORIDA SNOWBIRD LUNCH Due to the closing of many of the restaurants in the Kissimmee area for at least a year, we will not have the Snowbird lunch this year. I have called several restaurants in the area and have not been able to get on to take us. We will look for a restaurant in another area for next year. I had such a great time this year and I would like to thank Jon and Mr. Paul Edelen for all they did this year to make it so wonderful. I would like to congratulate Jon for winning the Charlie Cockeril award YOU really deserved it. On behalf of the YNCT I would like to thank the South Carolina group and all the other adults that helped with the lunch wagon and also all the NCTer’s who attended our lunch wagon. The participation at the lunch wagon was so tremendous it really made Mr. David Gilbert proud, even though he was unable to attend. I, along with the rest of the YNCT will surely miss Mr. David Gilbert. This years rally had its own memorable moments like one of Mr. Paul’s mile leisure walks up and down Camel’s Hump, our delicious lunch wagons, the trip to the beach, and one of the BEST talent shows in history. I hope everyone had a safe trip home and are back to your normal routine. I would like to receive all the YNCTer’s e-mail addresses I can so we will be able to send newsletters directly to them. I hope that everyone will be able to come next year and that all the grandparents will bring their grandchildren to Louisiana. On a final note of thanks, I would like to thank the beautiful sate of Vermont for the wonderful hospitality that we received.
