Text Box: Hi Sisters and Brothers of NCT. I can’t believe that three months have already passed and it is again time to do another article for News to Campers. I would like to thank all the chapters that have been sending me their newsletters. I enjoy reading them and seeing what the chapters are doing and how many people are attending each campout. I haven’t received many ideas as to what we can do to increase membership. I would suggest that during the off camping season, you attend your lodge and talk to brothers who are campers. Be sure to have an application close at hand, with the correct fees and information available.

Text Box: The weekend of Oct 14-16, LaVon and I camped with the Straddlers in Bellevue, SNE. We had a very enjoyable time with lots of good food, and had some good discussions about things happening in NCT. It was their last campout of the season. We are hoping next year to get to visit many other clubs. I am leaving Oct 25 for the NCT board meeting in Cleveland, SC. I am looking forward to this meeting and hope

Text Box: Greetings of the Season As we enter the holiday season, I understand how particularly difficult this time of year can be. The difficulty of this season is only compounded by the instability of the world around us. It seems whenever we turn on the radio or television, or read a newspaper, we are faced with even more awful things. Things that we could never in our worst nightmares imagined seem to be happening. I hope that as we go through this holiday season, especially in these troubling times, that we remember to keep our zest for life.
