A note from Reneé Greetings and Happy Holidays, I wanted to take a few moments to introduce myself. My name is Reneé and I am the one on the other end of the phone, but mostly the one at the keyboard. I would first like to say I apologize in advance for any thing I may have missed, misspelled or just generally goofed up on. I want you to know how very much I have enjoyed doing this publication for many reasons, the main one being it was a way to get to many of you. You will never know how many times, the friendly voices, the newsletters, the encouraging e-mails, I received have gotten me through some tough learning processes and what a joy they were to my heart. Carol’s shoes of 19 years are big ones and one I am sure I won’t ever totally fill, all I can do is let you know I will do the best that I possibly can. If there is anything that you need of me or that I may do I hope you will not hesitate to let me know. This is a day to day learning process and I know with all of your help WE can do it. The main thing is thing to remember is that this is YOUR National Office and YOUR News To Campers and we welcome any comments, suggestions or ideas. Thanks to those of you who have helped me, encouraged me and shared your lives with me, it is a heartwarming experience, and I have yet to go a day without receiving more than I have given. Having got that out of the way, this time of year we all reflect on the season of Love, Thankfulness and Giving. God has given me more than I deserve, a son of 24 “Chad” who is the joy of my heart, a loving family, a wonderful group of friends, a rewarding job and a chance to make a lot of new friends, whom I hope to carry with me for a long time to come. So, this Christmas season, remember to hold the ones you love dear close to your heart, to give thanks to our Savior, to look forward to the New Year and all it holds, to give a smile, a hug, an encouraging word to those in need, they cost so little and mean so much, and to live life to it’s fullest. I could go on forever (I have been known to be a little long winded) but wanted you to be able to use the rest of this space to jot down any notes you may need to make. (for me or yourself) Thanks again for your patience, time, understanding and may you all have a Happy Holiday Season !!! Always, and I look forward to speaking and meeting as many as I can. Reneé |
