Text Box: Brothers Kobs and Janos were the only members of #201 able to attend the District 8/14 Rally in Colorado in September. They reported a good Rally with a total of 30 rigs attending. We hope to do as well next year when we are hosts.
Even though we moved our October campout up a week, the second weekend in October was cold in ST. Cloud! The nine rigs that did attend had a good time in spite of the weather and more plans were laid for the District 8/14 Rally that we are hosting in 2006. There was also talk of a campin’ during the winter for the non-snowbirds left up here on the ‘frozen tundra’.

Inland Empire Travelers - Chapter 170

Well, we are going into our "winter mode" --- cold, wind, snow and ice. Most of you can relate - all but our "Snowbirds". Maybe they know something we don't know?
Nine rigs of our group went to a new RV park in July - Miller's RV Park in Republic, Washington. They had a great time; looks like we will be going there again. In August, 9 rigs were at the River Rue RV Park in Wilber, Washington. Also, for our State Rally in September, in Ellensburg, Washington., we had 9 rigs in attendance.
Our winter meetings started in October at the Old Country Buffet in Spokane, Washington., with 40 members present, WOW! November should follow suit. In January we will have our "who wants this item" auction. Always great fun. After all, isn't that the NCT slogan - 'Fun" ?? You are all welcome to join us.
Till then, keep those smiles turned up and those wheels a turnin'.
From all of us to all of you, Have a Happy Christmas and a Merrrrrrry New Year!

Trillium Travellers No. 2 - Chapter 71

Those Trillium #1’s Won Again! We had a great four days with Trillium #2 hosting Trillium #1, for our annual Ontario Rally in August, gut we just can’t seem to win at Bean Bag Baseball! At any rate, we all had fun at all the games which also included Bocci Ball, Bolo Golf, and Washer Board. At our meeting, our new National Good Will Ambassadors, Clare and Cay Brown were introduced, and reports given on the District 11 National Rallies. For our Saturday evening meal, MOT John Haig and Provincial Director Bill Carey slaved over the hot coals to serve us steaks. Other members assisted with baked potatoes and corn on the cob. And of course, we were offered a tempting array of desserts provided by the ladies. We had our usual campfires in the evening, with one of our members rigging up a speaker system to give us some nice background music, and another offering a few boisterous selections of the music of Scotland.
We had beautiful warm weather for our last official campout at Iroquois in September with 18 rigs registered. To make the most of it some arrived on Thursday, and were there to welcome others as they drove in. Since our campfires were so convivial, some of the permanent campers at the campground joined in. One of these ( a Mason) wove a deck chair with NCT on it and gave it to the Club. This was raffled off, with the proceeds going to our general account. Proceeds of our 50/50 draw and the Sunday collection, for a total of $134.05, was sent to National for Hurricane Relief. We invited the owner of the campground to join us for Saturday night Pot Luck. As hi is a Master Mason, he was given an application to NCT, so now we have another new member. At our Saturday morning meeting, Richard Bennett was installed as Chaplain by Provincial Director Bill Carey, and badges were handed to new members, Sheila and John Hulseman. Wagon Master, Howard Rutherford, outlined the schedule for 2005-2006. For our winter “camp-ins” we will be meeting at the Swiss Chalet in Kingston on November 19, the Palace Village in Napanee on January 14, and the China Buffet in Brockville, April 1.
Here’s wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy Holiday season, and our good wishes for 2006.

Mt. Rushmore Travelers - Chapter 61

We are still having such beautiful fall weather that I wish we could have another campout instead of our first camp in. However, we did enjoy a good meeting and meal on Sunday, October 24th at the Elkton House Restaurant in Wall, South Dakota. Seven units were represented for a good turnout. Some arrived early and enjoyed the world famous Wall Drug free ice water and 5 cent coffee and donuts.
Four of our units enjoyed the District 8/14 Rally at Monument, Colorado, in September. They went on several trips on the area (the Air Force Academy, Royal Gorge, Pike’s Peak, and Garden of the Gods). Outdoor games and table games kept folks busy some days. Musical evening entertainments were greatly enjoyed with the crowd joining in the singing and dancing. Next year this joint district rally will be in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
